We Gather at a Buddhist Temple: A Place in Our Community

Buddhism is the fourth-largest religion in the world, and the people who follow it are called Buddhists. Buddhists pray at home or at temples. Temples can be small and plain or large and elaborate. But all are places for peace. Temples bring people closer to Buddha and to each other. People gather for blessings, holy days, and celebrations.
