His work speaks truth to power in the American tradition of the First Amendment and freedom of the press. Throughout his career, Edel has created artwork for numerous clients, including mega brands like Nike, MTV, and Pepsi, and various publications such as the\u003ci\u003e New York Times\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eTIME \u003c\/i\u003emagazine, and the\u003ci\u003e New Yorker\u003c\/i\u003e. He illustrated Rise’s own \u003ci\u003eI Am: Affirmations for Resilience\u003c\/i\u003e, among other children’s books.
