THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE ON THE RUN is coming soon to streaming services and CBS All Access. Part origin story, part rescue mission, and part buddy road trip, the all new feature-length movie follows SpongeBob, Patrick, and the entire Bikini Bottom crew as they embark on a journey that spans from childhood to an adventure to save their friend, Gary the Snail. Boys and girls ages 2-5 will enjoy this all-new Little Golden Book based on the film.David Lewman is a children’s book author who has written more than 65books starring SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, the Fairly OddParents, G.I. Joe, the Wild Thornberrys, and other popular characters. His works include Batter Up!, Drop the Beat!, and The Knight Before Christmas.   

Heather Martinez is an illustrator whose work has appeared in books and television. She has illustrated several titles in the SpongeBob SquarePants series, and was tapped to take over the beloved Little Golden Books series Doc McStuffins. Her work can also be seen in the Golden Books edition of The Phantom Menace. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2006 for the Nickelodeon movie Escape From Cluster Prime. Her other works include Albert: The Little Tree with Big Dreams, Dino Parade!, and I Am a Princess.
