Through her writing, she has raised money for the hospital where she gave birth, and for charities such as ARC (Antenatal Results and Choices). Her first-class honours degree was in English Literature and Media, and for more than twelve years, she worked as a secondary school English teacher. She is now devoted to using her words to support those going through TFMR.
