McWey\u003c\/b\u003e, PhD, is a Professor and Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Florida State University. Her National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded research focuses on children and families involved with the child welfare system, and the results of her work have been published widely in high impact journals. She currently serves as a scientific reviewer for the Health, Behavior, and Context Subcommittee of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of NIH.
