Cedric Gaucho is the best costume designer in Florespark—the engineer who built Isom's iconic suit, a former wrestling-suit specialist with a math-obsessed mind for protective fabric and a gift for making “engineered” look “iconic.” Donald Hertle is his rival, a smug poacher in an ill-fitting suit who keeps stealing Cedric's clients. What starts as professional jealousy escalates into something neither of them saw coming, and ends with one of them in a high-tech off-world cell on a moon ringed by three more—and the other quietly designing a costume for a hero named Luke Graves.
