His dissertation was titled \u003ci\u003eAn Ethnohistorical Study of the Political Economy of Ndjole', Gabon.\u003c\/i\u003e Since 1990, Reed has evaluated several U.S. programs, such as youth substance abuse prevention (South Bronx, NY; Detroit; Philadelphia; West Dallas, TX; and Gallup, NM), school-age child care (Boston, Chicago, Seattle), secondary education (Bowling Green, KY; Huntington, WV), and community development corporations (Chicago).
