In the context of INLAND’s Academy at documenta fifteen, Microbiopolitics of Milk presents the grounding basis for a research project around Milk as a biocultural substance, through its implications in the regimes of contemporary biopolitics, economics, and representation. Featuring texts by Heather Paxson, Esther Leslie & Melanie Jackson, Harry G. West, Vinciane Despret, Chris Fite-Wassilak and Richie Nimmo, reflecting the different dimensions of milk in a variety of research fields.

INLAND is an arts collective, dedicated to agricultural, social and cultural production, and a collaborative agency. David Prieto Serrano is a sociologist and INLAND Campo Adentro member. His work as an applied researcher focuses on studying employment and education fields, social change and socio-spatial dynamics in rural areas. Fernando García Dory is an artist and agroecologist, and founding member of INLAND Campo Adentro. His work engages with the relationship between culture and nature, as manifested in multiple contexts, from landscape and the rural, to desires and expectations in relation to identity.
