Description
A joyful celebration of the small routines and transitions that shape a toddler’s world.

A toddler’s day is filled with new discoveries, from greeting an older sibling to “playing” the piano to watching the pet turtle eat his lunch. Each moment is an adventure worthy of celebration as toddlers explore the world around them, creating new connections with people and objects. But it’s what lies between those moments that can bring challenges.

Written as simple greetings and farewells by acclaimed poet Mar Benegas that are paired with charming illustrations by Neus Caamaño, this board book gently guides the youngest readers and their caregivers through the natural transitions of daily life.

A comforting, curiosity-sparking read for little ones and the grown-ups helping them find their rhythm.Mar Benegas is a trainer and lecturer specializing in poetry, reading promotion, and creativity. She teaches courses and lectures in Spain and other countries. She has worked in schools, teaching and pedagogical innovation centers, official colleges, and professional associations of librarians, universities, foundations, and other institutions. She collaborates with different initiatives and spaces for cultural creation linked to reading and poetry, and for six years she coordinated school visits to the Provincial Library of Valencia. She is currently the director of the Jornadas de Animación a la Lectura, Escritura y Observación (JALEO), which she directs for the Menédez Pelayo International University of Valencia, in collaboration with other institutions. Her books have been published (and translated) in China, Brazil, Korea, Italy, and France.

Neus Caamaño is an illustrator currently developing her work in publishing and advertising. She graduated with a degree in fine arts from Universitat de Barcelona and studied at the arts-and-crafts school known as Escola de la Dona (Barcelona). She believes illustration is the perfect language between creativity and communication. Aside from illustrating, she teaches creativity and plastic expression workshops for children.
