As Paris fashion correspondent for Glamour, Vogue, Women's Wear Daily, and the New York Times, and as photo stylist for Helmut Newton, David Bailey, Lord Snowdon, Francesco Scavullo, and Henry Clarke, Mary Russell both captured the mood and became part of the international clique of elite bohemians who ruled the world of art and fashion.
