To better hold the reader's attention, the authors of almost all of the chapters (exceptions are non-typhoidal salmonella and Zika) offer appropriate graphics, charts, and tables. The chapters on MERS, measles, Enterovirus D68, and C. difficile are concise yet comprehensive reviews.
