Nacida en Suecia, Josie se mudó a Escocia cuando tenía dos años. Regresó a su país de origen años después y allí se graduó en Psicología Clínica. Una vez completados sus estudios se mudó a Londres y luego a Singapur en busca de aventuras y un poco menos de lluvia.
