After breaking off her engagement, twenty-two-year-old Clover Weatherby moves to London to stay with her older cousin, fashion designer Olivia Foxe. Olivia is a sensualist, as are most of her friends, but Clover soon finds that she fits right in, and is extremely popular at Olivia's hedonistic parties.
However, Olivia is having some financial problems and when Clover accidentally loses her an important contract, she must make amends.
