Esta es la historia de un chico con caderas de palo y una joven alocada y de lo que sucede cuando la única opción es arriesgarse.

This is the story of a guy with stiff hips and a wild young woman, and what happens when the only option is to take a risk.

He’s a clueless guy with stiff hips and an almost nonexistent ability to put into words what’s going on inside him. And to articulate what he feels in an orderly and restrained way, without getting his feet wet even a little.

She’s a charming, scatterbrained chatterbox who writes just as she lives: turning everything upside down, bare all, with her heart on her sleeve, and without the emergency brake on.

She writes on impulse; he writes as best he can.

We, the readers, are caught in the middle: we’ll be privileged witnesses to what they’re not yet able to see, and we’ll let ourselves be swept along as accomplices in the tension that’s so explicitly palpable it pulls us in. Dizzy, surrendered to this unresolved love that is more than just a delightful force playing with them and with us—a force to which we give ourselves over without reservation.

And the fact is, in this story, sooner or later a decision must be made: either dive headfirst into the water, or keep pretending it’s too cold.
