Count to 10 (and Back Again!)

Read this book forwards and backwards! For young kids learning their basics and exploring the world around them, this board book teaches how to count from 1 to 10—and back again, from 10 to 1.

This board book has two spines—one on each side—so that the book opens outward left and right. Plus, each page is shaped like a number from 1 to 10! As new stars appear in the darkening night sky, count them along with the rhyming text:

Then, in order to close the book correctly, count backward while the sun rises again:

The stars have aligned and there are TEN.
A necklace of NINE glisten like gems.
A shower of EIGHT put on a show.
