Durante años me han visto con uniforme, galones y una maleta siempre a medio hacer. Me han imaginado segura, decidida y apasionada por volar. Y todo eso es una realidad. Pero también hay muchas otras facetas de mí que rara vez se atribuyen a un uniforme. Y es que mientras construía mi carrera como piloto, también iba descubriendo quién era fuera de la cabina.

Aquí no vas a encontrar teoría ni respuestas perfectas. Vas a encontrar historias reales, momentos de mi día a día y reflexiones que nacen justo ahí, en mitad de la vida: cuando una relación te remueve, cuando una duda pesa más de la cuenta, cuando toca tomar decisiones difíciles, cambiar de rumbo… y cuando vuelves a sentir esa pregunta de fondo: quién soy ahora, en esta etapa presente.

La Savina piloto puede resultar fascinante. Pero también existe la mujer, la hija, la amiga, la deportista… esa persona que a veces se siente perdida, que se cuestiona, que vive todo con mucha intensidad y que intenta hacerlo lo mejor posible con lo que tiene.

And perhaps that’s why this book begins far beyond the cockpit.

For years, people have seen me in uniform, with stripes, and a suitcase that’s always half-packed. They’ve imagined me as confident, determined, and passionate about flying. And all of that is true. But there are also many other facets of me that are rarely associated with a uniform. The thing is, as I was building my career as a pilot, I was also discovering who I was outside the cockpit.

You won’t find theory or perfect answers here. You’ll find real stories, moments from my day-to-day life, and reflections that arise right there, in the midst of life: when a relationship stirs you up, when a doubt weighs heavier than it should, when it’s time to make difficult decisions, to change course… and when you feel that underlying question again: who am I now, at this stage of my life.
Savina the pilot can be fascinating. But there’s also the woman, the daughter, the friend, the athlete… that person who sometimes feels lost, who questions herself, who experiences everything with great intensity, and who tries to do the best she can with what she has.
