Illustrated with detailed artworks of cars with exhaustive captions and specifications, Classic Cars is an extensively researched review of the world's key classic automobiles organized chronologically. The book includes 12 gatefold artworks of key vehicles.

Organized by era, Classic Cars includes more than 50 of the best-known cars of the 20th century, including the 1934 Bugatti Type 35, the most successful racing car of the pre-War period; the Mercedes-Benz SL, which set new standards for design, opulent interiors and superior handling; the Chevrolet Bel-Air, the quintessential 1950s cruiser; and the McLaren F1, with its revolutionary central driving position and lightweight carbon-fibre chassis.
