He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999 and a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons the following year. Daniel joined the Royal Veterinary College as a lecturer in soft tissue surgery in 2000 and became professor of small animal surgery in 2007. He is currently Director of Cardiothoracic Animal Surgery at the RVC and President of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eDavid E. Holt, \u003c\/b\u003eBVSc, DipACVS, graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 1983 and worked in private practice until 1985. He joined the surgical team at the Royal Veterinary College in 2011, where he worked as a senior lecturer and subsequently associate professor in soft tissue surgery, and Head of the ENT Department and ENT, Audiology and Brachycephaly clinics.
