She was appointed to the post of Lecturer in Anaesthesia \u0026amp; Intensive Care at the University of Aberdeen in 1995 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2000. Dr Galley has published 60 research papers, 26 reviews\/editorials\/chapters and edited 12 books. Her research interests focus on inflammatory and immune responses in the critically ill.
