Each project is based on one of two basic dolls - one approximately 4.5 inches tall and the other around just 3.5 inches tall. These basic patterns are presented at the start of the book, alongwith information on how to sew up your dolls, stuff them, and add faces and hair. Only a few basic crochet stitches are needed, and these delightful dolls are perfect for using up scraps of yarn from your stash.
 Sarah Abbondio is a Danish/Swiss designer who has been interested in creating things since she was very little. She trained as a design engineer and has been working as a independent designer and product developer for several Danish brands. 
 
Her interest in crochet started when her daughter was born and she wanted to create a unique toy for her. Sarah taught herself to crochet and it has been her primary hobby ever since. She lives in Denmark.
