A Tattler's Tale (The Caring Classroom, Book 2)

Welcome to The Caring Classroom! A picture book series that gives kids the building blocks they need to be a kind and caring person in the classroom and beyond, from a trusted expert in social development.

In book 2, a young boy learns the difference between telling the truth and tattling.

Mateo is a super-hero in training. Whenever he sees something wrong, he wants to make it right—and that means telling the teacher. But his classmates don't always see it the same way. In fact, some people have started calling him a Tattletale. With a little help from Ms. Howard, Mateo learns the difference between tattling and reporting. And he comes to see that a hero's job is not just about righting wrongs, but celebrating acts of kindness as well.

From the renowned bullying expert who brought you The Invisible Boy comes a new series developed in partnership with kindergarten and early elementary teachers to encourage kindness and character growth in the classroom and beyond. Bright, inviting artwork from Maribel Lechuga brings the story to life, with a sprinkling of humor and heart on every page.
