Wolverine Epic Collection: Escape From Weapon X

The defining tale of how Logan became Wolverine and more uncanny adventures!

In one of the greatest Marvel Comics stories ever told, visionary creator Barry Windsor-Smith reveals the brutal story of how Logan got his adamantium skeleton! After being taken hostage by an experimental Canadian military science outfit, Logan is transformed into Weapon X — an unstoppable killing machine with razor-sharp claws. But Weapon X cannot be contained by his captors — and trapped in their lab with the monster they have made, they will face his feral wrath! Back in the present day, Wolverine is rocked by vividly painful memories when he returns to the Weapon X facility! Can Jean Grey and Professor X help him unlock the secrets of his dark past? Plus: A savage showdown with Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike and the Hunter-in-Darkness! A feral team-up with Wolfsbane! And the vicious Omega Red makes his debut, which is bad news for Logan and the X-Men!
