When God Speaks: Listening to the Voice of God

God speaks to all of us. As we open our minds and hearts, cultivate the time to be aware and listen, and develop our prayer journey, we draw closer to the heart of God. Listening to the voice of God leads to a life of joy, contentment, and trust in God in all circumstances. God is always with us. When we take the time to pray, listen, to reflect, to block out the noise of the world, we can experience God's presence.

When God Speaks highlights stories of people who discerned His voice in their ordinary lives. Not all voices are from God. The stories help us learn to discern between voices which bring peace and those which divide and cause unrest. Sometimes God's voice is audible; other times He speaks through Scripture or divine revelation. No matter what form God chooses to communicate, the message is every bit as meaningful. God spoke to the saints and prophets of the past, and He continues to speak to us today.
