Wahcommo: KAYA

Wahcommo: Kaya is the direct sequel to Spanish cartoonist Luis NCT’s acclaimed graphic novel Wahcommo. It continues the story of the protagonist Kaya, the fierce young warrior who defied her tribe’s patriarchal traditions to become a “Seeker.”

In this volume, Kaya deals with the fallout of her previous quest. Having returned to her tribe with the treasures of the North, she must now navigate the political and social consequences of her success. The book maintains Luis NCT’s signature “painterly” art style, blending high-fantasy adventure with a grounded exploration of cultural shift, legacy, and the weight of being a pioneer in a world resistant to change.
