Bus loves his job as a school bus. He enjoys taking children to and from school, but his tires are bald, his axels creak, and his engine sputters. Eventually, Bus is retired and parked away. Bus longs to be driven again, missing the rides to and from school everyday. Then one day, Bus turned back on and drive past the school and familiar roads into an entirely new place. After some new tires, a powerful engine, and a colorful, fresh paint job, Bus becomes Rayo, the chicken bus! As a chicken bus, Rayo takes a new community of people (and chickens) where they need to go, finding a renewed purpose and home along his new route in the beautiful streets of Guatemala.

Brightly painted and named, these chicken buses are used as a main source of public transportation.
