This book is a celebration of LGBTQIA+ activists, artists, comedians, writers, musicians, and pop-culture giants who have shaped our worlds, expanded our horizons, and radically increased queer visibility.

Featuring trailblazing queer icons such as James Baldwin, George Michael, Frida Kahlo, George Takei, Elliot Page, Virginia Woolf, Leigh Bowery, and Divine, The Little Book of Pride Heroes is a colorfully illustrated homage to the power of pride and the enduring legacy of those who have fought for LGBTQIA+ rights.Jared Richards is a writer and journalist based in Sydney, Australia. He has written for The Guardian, The ABC, The Monthly, The Big Issue, The Sydney Morning Herald, NME, and more, and runs a queer reading night in Sydney.
