The Library of Stars

The guardian of a magical library embarks on her own journey of self-discovery and love in this spellbinding and enchanting romantic fantasy.

Archimedes Library travels at will around the world. Its ceilings are full of stars, its books a form of magical therapy. It arrives when no one expects it and leaves without a trace. When it is there, it changes the lives of its patrons, book by book, as it has done for centuries. But when it leaves, no one remembers it ever having existed—nor do they remember its custodians, the Finch Family, who have guarded the library since it came into being.

After the death of her parents, Serrie Finch is the last of the Finches—and the last of the guardians of the library. While undergoing the obligatory three magical trials all new librarians must do in order to prove she is worthy of harnessing Archimedes' magic.

Serrie has more than just trials to conquer. She is determined to unravel the mystery of the relationships of the Finches to the bonds of the library, bonds that do not allow her to build a life for herself without devastating consequences. For she is the last Finch and the library cannot exist without her; nor she without the Library.

And then Sebastian Ellerbrook enters her life, promptly turning her world upside down. With dark forces gathering that threaten both the sanctity of the Library and Serrie's life, she discovers that she will need all her wits to escape the fate of her parents, and those who would use the Library for their own ends, even if it means sacrificing love to do it.

For Archimedes cannot exist without a Finch; but can anyone truly live without love?
