Bill is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America, a co-founder of the Mid-America Chapter of the DBIA, is on the Design-Build Committee of AIA\/Colorado, and is a former president of both the Construction Industry Affairs Council of Kansas City and the AIA\/Missouri. He teaches construction law courses at the University of Kansas.
