Simon books have won The Governor General’s Literary Award for Illustration and The Owl Prize in Japan; and were chosen for the prestigious Illustrators’ Exhibit in Bologna, Italy.Gilles Tibo is one of Quebec’s most prolific artists and authors. His children’s books have won numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Literary Award and the Owl Award from Japan, and the artwork from Annabel Lee was accepted into the Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators’ Exhibition. He also represented Canada for the 1998 Hans Christian Andersen Award. Gilles Tibo lives in Montreal.
