Silver-Tongued Devils

We have stolen ancient treasures, toppled tyrants and slain monsters from legend. We have spoken to spirits, gods, and nameless beings from distant realms. If there’s a job and it pays well, we’ll get it done. We are Winter. You may have heard of us.

Something weird is happening in the town of Marnoch. Its population has been enslaved, without them noticing. Travellers come and go but, for some reason, the locals never want to leave but they can’t remember why. At night, every healthy man and woman is being made to work, and in the morning, they wake up with mysterious bruises, dirt under their fingernails, and no memory about what they were doing.

Now, all Winter has to do is get into town without it looking suspicious, find out what’s going on and put a stop to it, without being enslaved in the process. If only it were that simple.
