Monza a Glorious History

The Monza autodrome has played a fascinating and important role in more than a century of motor racing. Constructed in 1922, it was well known for its modern facilities and challenging race track. From the beginning, the greatest motor racing champions on both two and four wheels have campaigned cars and motorcycles built by the most prestigious constructors, pitting their abilities against each other on this track.

The task of this official publication by the Automobile Club of Milan is to live again Monza’s thrilling history through an incomparable collection of illustrations:

· 430 black and white and colors pictures featuring the star drivers;

· Riders;

· Cars and motorcycles that have raced there; and

· Plus pictures of the key changes to the facility itself during its more than 80 historic years.
