Late Bloomer

A queer-affirming picture book in a deluxe package with a gatefold! Follow an unlikely pair of friends who help each other transform into the best versions of themselves.

It takes time to bloom.

Time passes very slowly when you're waiting for something exciting to happen. No one knows this better than Pepe--they can't wait to transform into a butterfly! But every day they wake up dissapointed to find that they're still a caterpillar.

Not too far away, Enzo is waiting for inspiration to strike, and the deadline for the big show is approaching fast. Time passes quickly when you're waiting for the perfect idea.

When their paths unexpectedly collide, Pepe helps Enzo unlock his creativity and a side of himself that's been tucked in a closet for a long time. Both learn that life’s big transformations will unfold when they are meant to as they embark on parallel journeys to become more authentic versions of themselves.

Late Bloomer is a deeply personal story of friendship and queer expression that is sure to touch readers of all ages.
