John Nash

John Nash - architect, town-planner, landscape designer, bridge-builder, engineer and entrepreneur - was born in 1752 and died in 1835, outliving his principal patron, King George IV, by five years. After a disheartening start, he went on to become the most successful and fashionable architect of his time.
