Hazel went on to be an Apprentice at the Royal School of Needlework (RSN), and although she enjoyed learning about many different types of embroidery, she became most fascinated by goldwork. As an Apprentice she had the honour of embroidering a commission for the RSN workroom  a new pulpit fall in real, 18-carat Japanese gold thread. As her career developed, fate played a part and she was offered a number of commissions involving goldwork, including a mitre for Cardinal Hume. Since then Hazel has taught Goldwork Embroidery all over the UK and has worked on numerous commissions, including ecclesiastical work, embroidering items for leading fashion designers and assisting with the reconstruction of the Coronation Robe of King George VI that was exhibited at Kensington Palace, London. Hazels work has been exhibited throughout the UK, and she now lives and works in Surrey.","brand":"Search Press","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44885645099237,"sku":"NP9781844486267","price":29.95,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1842\/7735\/files\/9781844486267.jpg?v=1767728295","url":"https:\/\/k12savings.com\/es\/products\/goldwork-isbn-9781844486267","provider":"K12savings","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
