Described by James Joyce as “the most purely Irish thing we have,” the illuminated manuscript has a long and complex history, one that has been retold and preserved since its creation in the 9th century. Originally released under the name Generatio as a handstitched hardcover journal in 1998, we are delighted to creatively reimagine the design, giving it new life while still rooted in the original folio design from The Book of Kells.
