When a troop of awfully loud children stomp through the woods outside his home, Bear is woken up before he’s done hibernating. And, wow, does the world look different! Bear has never experienced winter before, so he has never seen snow before. He has never seen naked trees before. And he has never seen his food trapped in the river before. It is a total catastrophe! Bear does what anyone does when confronted with a new and shocking situation—he PANICS.
