Sometimes, people really want to have a baby, but they aren't able to. And sometimes, that's where surrogates can help! Surrogacy is when someone carries a baby in their womb for someone else. This author shares her experience as a surrogate, what it was like to go through the process, and overall, the privilege and joy it is to help someone else achieve a huge dream: creating a family.Kira Chesak (she/her) is a wife, mom, and a one-time surrogate.
