Hateful voices can often seem like the loudest in the room, and members of the LGBTQ+ community deal with this reality on a regular basis. This author is here to remind queer kids of their value and the importance of feeling safe and secure in their minds and communities. Every person deserves to live life freely, as their true self, no matter what. You are special in every way!Brian (he/him) is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker, and activist. He is a US Army intelligence officer and a Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree. He has become a top voice in the LGBTQ+ space, using social media and his writing (as seen in Newsweek and beyond) to defend human rights. He currently works with the Human Rights Campaign and Common Defense to fight for equality as a Gen Z changemaker.
