Enjoying Jesus

This is a great book. Tim makes important theological distinctions with a lightness of touch and helpful illustrations so that the reader is learning deep truths of the faith without really noticing. He then helps us to take practical steps to enjoy different aspects of Jesus’ character and work; each chapter concludes with numerous suggestions of how to let the glory of Jesus make a difference each day. Some of the chapters left me very greatly affected and rejoicing deeply. | Christians talk easily about “having a relationship with Jesus”. But what do we actually mean—really, practically, today? Tim Chester wants normal, ordinary Christians to genuinely enjoy Jesus, not just to know about him in the abstract.
