They do EVERYTHING together but when Frankie goes missing, Billie feels a bit lost – who will she play with and share her dreams with now? | Katie Vernon is an illustrator and author living in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona. Her author-illustrated books include We’re Having a Party (For Everyone!) (Abrams), Ari Arranges Everything(Running Press) and Happy Halloweenie/Relish the Season (Simon & Schuster). As an illustrator she’s had the pleasure of working with Workman, Quarry, Compendium and many other incredible clients. Her art is infused with lush, handmade textures and vibrant colours. Katie has the memory of a large goldfish and enjoys thrifting, witty humour, and is also rather fond of her high school sweetheart, their daughter and their two goofy dogs.
