There is much evidence to suggest that those who are satisfied at work respond more positively to change than those who are unsatisfied, and that organizations report higher productivity where employees consider themselves satisfied. This second edition of Measures of Job Satisfaction, Mental Health and Job-related Well-being: A Benchmarking Manual is a unique resource of benchmarking data for widely used questionnaire measures of job satisfaction. The benchmarking data is based on a sample of almost 60,000 respondents from 115 different organisations across a wide spectrum of industries and occupations. The data is presented for each measure by their subscales and/or main variants and is given by industrial sector, and by occupational group, broken down by age and gender.
Dealing with four measurement scales of job satisfaction and adding a brand new chapter and extended introduction, this book provides comparative data or 'norms' on:
Job Satisfaction.
Mental Health.
Job-related Well-being.
As well as brand new benchmarking data for Organisational Commitment.
A must-have resource for occupational psychologists, consultants working within organisations, researchers that are using measurement scales and are seeking comparative results, course directors, lecturers, project supervisors, human resource staff and consultants, as well as market research companies.
