In addition to mystery novels, she has written adult fantasy novels, novels for middle grade readers, scripts, and has edited multiple short story anthologies.   Born in Florida and raised in Hawaii, Bishop received a BA in Philosophy and Literature from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. She currently divides her time between a working farm in upstate New York and a small home in West Palm Beach.
